Lynley Boyce – Principal Podiatrist, Owner BHSc(Pod) BPhEd

I am passionate about helping people gain comfort and success in their life. To be able offer a solution to their foot or leg pain, which in turn enables them to reach their goals is very gratifying. These goals maybe to complete their complete 1st half marathon or to be able to return to work after months of disability. The solution might be as simple as removing an ingrown toenail for immediate relief to designing an orthotic and management plan for someone’s heel pain that has been previously plaguing them for months.

I enjoy the challenge that comes with the complexity of the foot and leg, and how individual each injury can be.

I am fortunate enough to have both a Phys Ed and Podiatry degree. This has given me a huge knowledge base and understanding of many sports and recreational injuries. My experience ranges from working within the hospital and residential care settings within my early days, to the many recreational and elite athletes that limp in through the door. I have also recently retrained in pediatric toe-walking. Athletes range from running, walking, rugby, cycling, ballet & dance, netball, hockey, cricket bowling, soccer…I am also a Mum of a busy 6 year old boy, who loves “keeping me on my toes”.

I have solid working relationships with a number of health professionals (GP’s, orthopeadic surgeons, physio’s, osteopath, chiropractors), coaches, trainers and footwear retailers.

Anne McCabe - Senior Podiatrist, Dip.Pod

My career began in 1983 when I graduated with a Diploma of Podiatry from the Central Institute of Technology in Wellington. I then worked in Auckland for a number of years in hospital, retirement facility and private practice settings. I relished the opportunity to work in a wide range of environments and gained extensive experience in treating foot conditions and diseases.

I returned to the Kapiti Coast in 1985 where I established my own private practice while raising four children. My work included treating clients at numerous residential homes and hospitals, which helped me further develop valuable skills in delivering a quality service with humour and kindness. In 2015, I sold my practice in Otaki and moved to Hawke’s Bay to be closer to my elderly parents and two of my sisters.

I believe that long-term foot care success and relief from pain comes from a soundly functioning foot, so I’m excited to be working with Lynley, with her extensive knowledge of lower limb biomechanics. We believe our complementary expertise will offer a total foot care experience to our valued clients.

I look forward to meeting you soon!
Stephen Bulpitt – Allied Health Assistant (Podiatry)

Kristen Birch – Podiatry Assistant

I'm delighted to be growing the role as podiatry assistant here at Boyce Podiatry. My husband and I moved to Hawkes Bay after living and working in Wellington and London. It has been a great lifestyle choice for us and our two children. My role as podiatry assistant is a mix of clinical support, admin and concierge. I have a keen interest in running, yoga, tramping and being active with my children with emphasis on health and fitness. I look forward to meeting Boyce Podiatry clients and assisting with your footcare needs.
